A LIVING SYMBOL OF OUR SYMBOL
This incident dates back to 1988 – 89. Doctor had started the ‘Holy sessions’
and every one eagerly awaited the arrival of 6.30 p.m. for another memorable
assemblage. I was to pick up the member, who was the medium for communications
from his office and take him to our venue of assembly.
He wanted to take a
detour to his house before going to our venue of assembly and I obliged. It was
nearing 6.30 pm, we had kept the others waiting and we were hurrying up to
leave, when suddenly Mother arrived. She said that she had something special to
convey. She said “The symbol is not a mere symbol. It is a representative of
what you do – the practice of meditation”. Thus, she explained the symbol that
day and I make a humble attempt to describe it.
The symbol is a top view of a
person meditating. Imagine looking at a person from above his head. The two
small circles represent his eyes and they meet behind the midpoint of the
forehead. The circle at the base represents the space inside the head. The two
lines represent the vertical meridian through which the ‘prana’ flows from the
‘muladhara’ to the ‘sahasrahara. She said “You all must be a living symbol of
this symbol and the world must see you so.

Life
Life is not a straight road like a run way. It is full of ups and downs which is
common for everyone. But there is a difference. In our life, our Guru is always with us
whether we realize it or not. The truth is our Guru is always with us. So, the difference
between us and the common man is our Guru.

The Goal
The goal has been set by Him and it is so simple. The goal is we all should become like Him.
Is it really simple?
But according to him it is simple and hence it should be simple. Since the goal has been set,
let us move on towards the Goal.
Our journey started the day our Guru ignited the light within us (initiation). The journey
may be tiresome, sometimes painful, may not be very attractive but let us not forget that our
Guru is always there with us. He clears the hurdles on our way towards the truth.
Let us continue with our journey until our Guru says…………. ‘enough child…. enough….take rest in me!’

நாடியதை நாட ஒரு நம்பிக்கை வேண்டும்
நம்பிக்கை ஒன்றேதான் நாட்டத்தைத் தூண்டும்
வாடியதைப் பேண ஒரு வான மழை வேண்டும்
வான மழை ஒன்றேதான் மண் வளத்தைத் தூண்டும்
பாடியதைக் காண ஒரு பரிசுத்தம் வேண்டும்
பரிசுத்தம் ஒன்றேதான் பரநிலையைத் தூண்டும்

அப்பியாசியின் பிரார்த்தனை
புனிதக் குரல் கொடுத்தாய் அன்று
அருட் குரள் தந்தாய் இன்று
அன்னையின் அருள் வழி கூறும் இறைவா
ஆத்ம தரிசனம் எப்போது அளிப்பாய்?
'என்னைத்' தொலைத்தல் எந்த நாளோ?
உன்னைச் சரணடையும் அந்த நாளே
மனம் இரங்கி வருவாய் தாயே
மனம் (என்) இறங்கி என்று போகும்?
உன் குரல் மரவாது ஒலித்து ஒலித்து
உட் குரல் கேட்கும் அருள் பொழிக!
கருணைக் கடலே காருண்ய நிலையே
நித்ய ஆனந்தம் என்றும் நிலவ
நிதர்சன உண்மை என்றும் உலவ
கனிந்து அருள் தருவாய் நீயே!
இறைஞ்சுகிறேன் என்னாளும் இச்சேயே.

கேள்வி: ஆன்மாவில் லயித்திருத்தல். ஆன்ம சிந்தனையுடன் இருத்தல் - இவை குறித்து விளக்கவும்
பதில்: ஆன்ம சிந்தனையுடன் இருத்தல் என்பது ஆன்மாவைப் பற்றி அறியும் முதல் படி. ஆன்மாவில்
லயித்திருதல் என்பது ஆன்மாவைப்
பற்றிப் புரிந்துகொண்டு அதைத் தவிற வேறு நினைவே
இல்லாதிருத்தல்.
எல்லோர் உள்ளும் உள்ள ஆத்மா ஒன்றுதான் என்று புரிந்து கொள்வதும் ஆன்ம
சிந்தனையே.

அனுபவம்
அக்டோபர் மாதம் 17ம் தேதி, சென்னையில் மழை மேகங்கள் கூடிய காலை நேரம். வானம் இடி மின்னல்களுக்கிடையே வெள்ளம் போல் மழை பெய்து கொண்டிருந்தது.
என் மகன் தொலைபேசியில் பேசிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார். பக்கத்தில் இருந்த குளிர்சாதனப் பெட்டியில் கை வைத்தவாறு நான் நின்று கொண்டிருந்தேன். எங்கள் எதிரில் ஒரு வாடிக்கையாளர் அமர்ந்திருந்தார்.
எதிபாராமல் ஒரு பெரும் சத்தத்துடன் ஒரு இடி இறங்கியது. என் கை வழியாக உயர் அழுத்த மின்சாரம் உடலில் பாய்ந்து தரையில் இறங்கியது.
என் மகனுக்கோ, காதில் தீப்பொறி பரறந்தது போன்ற அனுபவம்.
எதிரே அமர்ந்திருந்த வாடிக்கையளர், ஒரு தீப்பிழம்பு நான் கை வைத்திருந்த குளிர்சாதனப் பெட்டிக்கும் அருகிலிருந்த சுவற்றுக்கும் இடையில் இறங்கியதைப் பார்த்ததாகச் சொன்னார். அந்த நேரத்தில் வேலை
செய்துகொண்டிருந்த குளிர் சாதனப் பெட்டி, டீ.வி இரண்டும் இன்றும் நல்ல நிலையில் இயங்கிக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றன. தொலைபேசியின் ஒயர் பழுது பட்டிருக்கிறது.
டீ.வி. ஆண்டனாவின் குழாய் (ரிஃப்ளக்டர்) கீழே விழுந்து கிடந்தது. மின்சாரம் தடை படவில்லை. வேறு எந்தவிதமான பாதிப்பும் இல்லை.
லட்சக்கணக்கான வோல்டேஜ் இடியாக தரையிறங்கும் போது அதன் ஒரு பகுதியை உடலில் தாங்கிய ஒருவன் உயிர் வாழ முடியுமா? நான் வாழ்கிரேன்.
எங்கும் நிறைந்த பரம்பொருளை என் குருவாக அடையும் பாக்கியம் பெற்றதால் மட்டுமே இது சாத்தியமாயிற்று.

சரணாகதி
கடவுளை அடைய குறுக்கு வழி இல்லை. கடவுளுக்கும் நமக்கும் இருக்கும் முழு தூரத்தையும் கடந்தே ஆக வேண்டும்.
அந்த இடைவேளி அசர வைக்கும். அதைக் கடக்க காலம் பிடிக்கும். பெரும்பாலும் துன்பமயமானது. இத்தகைய துன்பம்
தேவைதானா என ஒரு அப்பியாசி நினைக்கக் கூடும். இது எதனால் என்றால், கடவுளைத் தேடும் நபரை அவன் அதற்குத்
தகுதியானவன் தானா என்று சோதிப்பதால்தான். இத்தகைய சோதனை ஏசுகிருஸ்துவை சிலுவையில் அறைந்ததற்கு ஒப்பாகும்.
ஒவ்வொரு அப்பியாசியும் சிலுவையை சுமக்க வேண்டும். ஆனால் ஒவ்வொரு அப்பியாசிக்கும் ஒவ்வொரு சிலுவை என்பதே வேறுபாடு.
முழுமையான பரிசுத்தமான இறைவனை சிறிய அளவிலான பரிசுத்தமின்மையைக் கொண்டிருந்தால் கூட உணர இயலாது.
நீ எத்தகைய குணத்தைப் பெறவில்லையோ அத்தகைய விஷயத்தில் நீ கடவுளால் சோதிக்கப் படுவாய் என்பதை நினைவு கொள்வாயாக.
உனக்குப் பொருமை இல்லையா? அப்படியானால் நீ பொருமையில் மீண்டும் மீண்டும் சோதனைக்குள்ளாவாய். நீ உறுதியற்று இருப்பாயானால்,
மிகச் சிறியதான ஆசையின் தூண்டுதலுக்கு பலியாகக் கூடும். ஆனால், நேர்மையில் உறுதியுடன் அதே நேரம் தூய்மையின் நிறைவில்
முழுமையுடன் இல்லாதிருப்பினும், அந்த மிக சக்திவாய்ந்த (இறைத்) தூண்டுதலுக்கு மட்டுமே இரையாவாய். அதன் பிறகே உனது
இறை பாதுகாப்பு முழுமை பெறும்.
அப்பியாசி இத்தகைய முறையில் மருபடியும் மருபடியும் சோதனைக்குள்ளாகும் போது களைப்படைந்து வேதனைக்குள்ளாகிறான்.
ஒவ்வொரு அப்பியாசியிம் இந்த நிலையைக் கடந்தாகவே வேண்டும். இத்தகைய நிலையே ஒருவன் பரிசுத்தமாகும் நிலையாகும்.
நீ ஒரு உலையில் கிடக்கும் மூலப் பொருள் போன்ற நிலையில் இருப்பாய். இது ஒன்றும்
மகிழ்ச்சிகரமான அனுபவம் அன்று. மிகவும் துன்பகரமானதே. இத்தகைய நிலையில் அப்பியாசி
புலம்பத் தொடங்குவான். உலக வாழ்க்கை எவ்வளவோ மேன்மையாயிருந்தது. இத்தகைய மாற்று
முறைதான் எனக்குக் கிடைத்ததா? என்னுடைய துன்பத்தில் இன்பம் கொள்ளும் இறைவன் என்ன
கடவுளா என்று. இதில் துயரமும் வேடிக்கையான நிலையிலுமுள்ள அப்பியாசி தன்னைப்
படைத்தவனை, குருவை நிந்திக்கும் அதே நேரத்தில் தன்னுடைய முற்றிலும் இயலாமையும்,
கடவுளின் பெரும் வல்லமையையும் உணர்கிறான். இறுதியில் அவன் உடைந்து மனமுறுகி
கடவுளிடம் பிரார்த்திக்கிறான். அந்த நிலையே
சரணாகதி
முழுச் சரணாகதி
எதையும் கேளாத சரணாகதி
இத்தகைய சரணாகதி நிலையில் கடவுளின் கருணை, அருள் அவனை நோக்கி வருகிறது. ஆறுதல் அளிக்கிறது. ஆசுவாசப் படுத்துகிறது.
கொதிப்படைந்த அவனது இதயத்தில் அமைதி ஆட்கொள்கிறது.
இவ்வாறாக துயரம் சரணாகதியின் முன்னறிவிப்பாக விளங்குகிறது.
(தன்னை / கடவுளை) உணர்தல் என்பதுகடினமான வழியின் மூலமே. இத்தகைய கசப்பான உண்மை எவ்வளவு விரைவில் நீ உணர்வாயோ
அது உனக்கு நல்லது.
கடவுளை உணர்தல் என்பது முழு சரணாகதி.
